The changing of the year can be a great time for us to look ahead with a renewed sense of hope, and optimism for good things to come. If you are making the journey through cancer treatment, or are close to someone who is, we wish for healing, cures, and clean follow-up visits to be yours over the next twelve months.
Toward that end, we are excited to start the new year with a renewed enthusiasm for the work we do for our community! As many of you may know, Hope Cancer Resources is an agency built on the past successes and future plans of two separate entities - the Northwest Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute (NARTI), and H.O.P.E., Inc. (Helping Oncology Patients Excel). In September of 2009 the merger was completed, and we are starting off 2010 with a brand new website to show off.
We have included all of the great information that was available on our individual sites before, and have combined everything into what (we hope) is a cohesive, easy-to-read place to find support, resources, and information on cancer treatment in Northwest Arkansas and beyond. Take a look, and let us know what you think!
Upcoming Event - the 12th Annual Le Chocolate Feast
It's a win-win situation, really. Here's how it works: First, you purchase a ticket for yourself, and maybe a few more to hand out to your friends and co-workers. Next, you show up at the Northwest Arkansas Mall on Saturday, January 30th between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. While your purchase price helps us provide screening programs, education, and emotional and financial support to our community, you get to enjoy the delicious chocolate-themed offerings of over a dozen local bakeries, restaurants, and caterers!
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Northwest Arkansas Mall business office (during office hours), or at our office on Hwy. 412 West between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. New this year: You can also click on the button located on our website's Special Events page to make a secure purchase online!
Note: If you are making an online purchase of adult tickets and children's tickets together, simply add the first batch to your cart, close the "cart" window, then select the number of the other kind of tickets you need... when you click the "Buy Tickets Now" button the 2nd time, your cart will be updated with both selections.
